Many years ago , along about 1984-85 I met Ken while he was dating my daughter. He was always so helpful when he was around the house visiting and polite to a "fault". He loved our children and grandchildren as if they were his own.
In March 1985 while my daughter and Ken were at a " Johnny Cash" concert at Billy Bob's Texasand my grandson decided to make his entrance into this world, so we called my daughter to come to the hospital " right in the middle of the concert" she told Ken to stay and see the rest of "his idol" in concert , but he wasn't having any of that. So they came to the hospital and waited hours for the birth of my grandson.
As the years rolled by he became known as Uncle Ken to all the children in our family and they all loved him dearly.
Ken spent many weekends with this grandson and I spent many hours arguing with him about the hat that the baby had to wear, he had ear problems and the hat had ear covers on it and tied in front. At one point Ken threw the hat out the window of his truck ( he always had a truck) and we had to go and retrieve it. Ha Ha
I have so many memories of our times together and photos to look at and share. we were so sad to see you leave Texas but in keeping in touch we knew you were ok.
Ken;
Loving you was easy and being with you was so much fun, now letting you go is going to be heart breaking for many of us who loved you so much.
May our Lord wrap his arms around you and give you peace.
Loving and Missing you; Sandra, Ron, Blake and Cayelee
Blessings and peace to all of your family and friends
