LIMESTONE & FORT FAIRFIELD

Limestone & Fort Fairfield – Levi W. Perry Sr., 91, husband of the late Rowena (Chabre) Perry and the late Gertrude (Chabre) Perry, passed away Monday morning December 27, 2021 at a Caribou healthcare facility, following a brief illness. He was born May 5, 1930 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Walter and Laura (Sands) Perry.

Levi served his country during the Korean War with the United States Army Infantry and was married to Rowena Chabre on January 2, 1954, who predeceased him on October 26, 1981. He later married Gertrude Chabre on July 3, 1982, who passed away on March 17, 2013. Levi worked for a number of years at Mark Industries, Torrington, CT as a plastics mold operator. After returning home to Aroostook County, Levi worked for a period of time for Shaw Farms and retired from Pollack Potato Company.

In addition to his parents and wives, Levi was predeceased by his son, Levi Perry Jr. on December 25, 2021; six brothers, Charles, Philip, Edmond, James, Wilfred and Edward Perry; three sisters, Edith Schneider, Mary Sterling, Evelyn Coro; two grandsons, Greg Perry and Jacob Page.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Edmond and Lisa Perry of Rochester, NH, Francis Perry of Limestone, Michael and Felecia Perry of Loganville, GA; two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Rick Olson of Snellville, GA, Pamela Frye of Loganville, GA; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Levi will be interred with military honors with his late wife Gertrude at the Northern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Caribou at a later date.
