Stockton Springs & Fort Fairfield - Sally Ann (Foster) McNamee , 60, passed away following a brief illness in Bangor on April 9, 2022. She was born March 8, 1962, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of the late Neal Roger Foster and Delina Ada (Milliard) Foster.

Sally graduated from Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1980. Sally was known by those she loved for her witty sense of humor. She loved spending time in her gardens, tending to her flowers with her “Green Thumb”, and listening to the birds sing. Her love for the outdoors and all it’s wonders allowed her to be a free spirit and to live and love throughout her precious life.

Sally leaves behind 3 children; Hope Elizabeth McNamee (Larry Worcester) of Gardner, Massachusetts, John Neal Devine Jr. of Bangor, Maine, and Olivia Faith Devine (Crystal Duarte) of Bangor, Maine; her grandchildren, Laura Grace and Brett Worcester; her partner in crime, Christopher Charles Chase of Stockton Springs; her siblings, Elizabeth Marianne McVicar (William) of Calais, Maine, David Milliard Foster (Angela) of Augusta, Maine and Paula Whitamore (Domenic) of East Hampstead, New Hampshire as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, and cousins.

Sally was predeceased by her parents, her brother N. Roger Foster and her sister Carole Hetrick.

A gathering to Celebrate Sally’s Life will be conducted Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fort Fairfield VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187. Private interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
