Fort Fairfield & Presque Isle – Thomas M. Bright, 64, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, August 1, 2022 at his Presque Isle home. He was born November 4, 1957 in Fort Fairfield, the son of John T. and Ada (Murphy) Bright.

He attended Fort Fairfield schools and was a member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Fort Fairfield. Tom had been employed in the farming industry for much of his life, mostly for the Reed family, Fort Fairfield. Tom enjoyed truck pulls, harness racing and helping others.

Tom was predeceased by his parents; and one sister, Vicky Bright. He is survived by two sisters, Katherine Schieber and her husband Fred of Caribou, Deborah Belanger of Titusville, FL; two brothers, Wade Bright and his companion Jackie Everett of Fort Fairfield, Ricky Bright and his wife Michelle of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, August 8, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Bright to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 24 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
