ANDREW DAVID YORK
PRESQUE ISLE & DUXBURY, MA
Presque Isle & Duxbury, MA – Andrew David York, 62, of Duxbury, MA, passed away on August 20, 2021. The son of Alden York and Sandra Morrell (Kinney).
Andrew is survived by his wife, Mary Jane York of Duxbury, MA; son, Samuel David York of Bangkok, Thailand; daughter, Brandy Osterblom and her husband Dave of Fort Fairfield; his grandchildren, Brendan and Brianna Osterblom of Fort Fairfield; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
After proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps, Andrew continued his education and went on to be a funeral director and served on the North Carolina Board of Funeral Directors for over 23 years. Raised in Presque Isle, Andrew loved fishing, cooking, playing golf and spending time with his family. He was a devoted father and loyal friend. Andrew faced death like he lived his life, with courage and bravery.
Graveside services with military honors will be conducted on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
