CALVIN THOMAS PEERS
PRESQUE ISLE, EASTON & MARS HILL
Presque Isle, Easton & Mars Hill – Calvin Thomas Peers, 65, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend, left his earthly home for the arms of his Heavenly Father on September 10, 2022 with his wife, brother and sister-in-law at his side at the Aroostook House of Comfort, Presque Isle.
He was born May 5, 1957 in Mars Hill, the son of Calvin and Amelia (Boyd) Peers. He grew up in Easton and was employed by Gary’s Furniture and Appliance, Presque Isle for many years and retired to spend more time with his family and friends. Calvin enjoyed hunting and shooting with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was predeceased by one brother, Kevin Peers; one grand daughter, Kynna Freedom Peers.
He is survived by his wife and partner of twenty-three years, Peggy Peers of Presque Isle; a son, Thomas M. Peers of Easton; a stepson, Jason K. Johnston of Presque Isle; brother, Edward Peers and his wife Tracy of Fort Fairfield; sister, Sandra Thomas and her husband David of Herman, FL; but the love of his life was his grandchildren, Elanor Peers of Easton, Kaiden and Kole Peers, both of Sarasota, FL. The joys and love of his life were his family and friends. “It will always be me and you forever.”
In keeping with Calvin’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Peers to the Aroostook House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
