Presque Isle – Bonnie L. DeWitt, 65, wife of the late Randy W. DeWitt, passed away unexpectedly, Friday September 30, 2022 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born August 8, 1957 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Kenneth and Gail (Ward) Blevins.

Bonnie attended Waterbury, CT schools and was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School, Class of 1975. She was married to Randy W. DeWitt on May 22, 1976 and owned and operated “Bonnie’s Daycare” in Presque Isle for more than thirty years. Bonnie was a fun loving person who was always ready for an adventure. She loved to laugh and treated everyone she met as family, always ready to assist a friend or stranger alike when they were in need. She truly loved kids, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed trips and adventures with her sister Tracy.

She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Blevins; her husband, Randy W. DeWitt on September 30, 2008; a brother-in-law, Calvin Peers. Bonnie is survived by her mother, Gail Blevins of Fort Fairfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Toni L. and Christopher Lloyd of Presque Isle; four sisters, Kathy Blevins of Limestone, Peggy Peers of Presque Isle, Nora Thomas and her husband Jim of Caribou, Tracy Jones of Fort Fairfield; two grandchildren, Noah Christopher Lloyd and Jacob Randy Lloyd, both of Presque Isle; numerous niece and nephews.

Friends may call Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield, where the funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Vaughn Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Bonnie to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
