Fort Fairfield – Carvell W. Lunn, 72, husband of Gladys M. Lunn, passed away Sunday evening, October 2, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home, following an extended illness. He was born April 22, 1950 in Bath, New Brunswick, the son of Clifford and Madeline (Drost) Lunn.

He was a graduate of the Perth-Andover, New Brunswick High School, Class of 1968, and was married to Gladys M. Harvey on September 4, 1982. Carvell enjoyed a long career as a self-employed truck driver, which spanned more that thirty years. He greatly enjoyed fishing throughout the state, most especially Monson Pond, Fort Fairfield. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a wonderful man and a caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, Carvell was predeceased by one brother, Alan Lunn. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Gladys M. Lunn of Fort Fairfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford and Kimberly Lunn, Brian and Brigg Lunn, all of Royalton VT, James and Heather Walker of Fort Fairfield; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Timothy Martin of Caribou, April and Carlos Diaz, Tammy and Doug Tysinger, all of Titusville, FL; one sister, Alice Jewell of Panama City, FL; eighteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street Fort Fairfield. Private interment will take place at the St. Denis Catholic Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Lunn to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, One Bowdion Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, Maine 04086.
