FORT FAIRFIELD
Fort Fairfield – Michael E. Keefer, 54, passed away Monday morning, October 9, 2023 at the Aroostook House of Comfort, Presque Isle following an extended illness. He was born May 22, 1969 in Tacoma, WA, the son of Robert and Eva (Kienast) Keefer.
Michael worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for several years in Endicott, NY. He also worked as a U.S. Park Ranger and as a maintenance person at the Village By the Sea Resorts in Wells. Michael was a compassionate animal lover, especially cats and love to fish.
He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his fiancé and caregiver of many years, Monica L. Strong of Fort Fairfield. Those who wish may contribute in memory of Michael to the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 26 Cross Street, Presque Isle. Maine 04769. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
