FERN PARK, FL & LIMESTONE

Fern Park, FL & Limestone – Martina L. “Sis” (Barnes) Littlefield, 78, went to be with her family in Heaven on January 15, 2022, following a brief illness. She was born January 29, 1943 in Limestone, the daughter of Thomas N. and Mamie (Berube) Barnes.

She was a graduate of the Limestone High School and followed her dreams to Ohio and Florida where she raised her family. She was a beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother. Sis had a never-ending love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and contagious laugh. She was always up for a good game of cards, cribbage or crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Martina was predeceased by two brothers, Greg and Harold Barnes. Martina leaves behind three children and their families to cherish her memory; two sons, Gary Littlefield and his wife Leslie of Winter Springs, FL; Jim Littlefield and his wife Cheryll of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; one daughter, Kim Littlefield-Tonelli of Virginia Beach, VA; five very special grandchildren, Todd, Adam, Tyler, Hannah and Amanda; one brother, Thomas A. Barnes and his wife Peggy of Limestone; five sisters, Barbara Foster and her husband Tom of Peculiar, MO, Winnifred Markwell and her husband John of Thornville, OH, Darlene Fitzgibbon and her husband Tom of Hudson, NY, Elaine Neal and her companion Steve Miller of Uitca, OH, Betty Grant and her husband Danny of Hudson, NY; and several unforgettable nieces and nephews.

A family gathering in remembrance of Martina will take place at a later date.
