ERIK C.F. ELMER
FORT FAIRFIELD
Fort Fairfield – Erik C.F. Elmer, 47, husband of the late Jessica (Pitcher) Elmer, passed away Thursday morning, November 2, 2023 in Fort Fairfield as a result of a tragic house fire. He was born March 22, 1976 in Mountainview, CA, the son William Donald and Margo Rae (Bennett) Elmer.
He was a graduate of the Nampa, ID School System, Class of 1994, and attended Boise State University for Music and most recently had been enrolled at the University of Maine, Presque Isle, pursuing a degree in English Journalism. Erik had a passion for photography and was a talented musician. He also enjoyed hiking, cycling, and most especially being a Dad and Grampa.
He was predeceased by his father, William Donald Elmer; his wife, Jessica M. Elmer; and one daughter, Rose Meredith Elmer. He is survived by one son, Augustus C.M. Elmer of Fort Fairfield; two daughters, Gillian Radford and her husband Austin of Tuscan, AZ, and Emma Elmer of Nampa, ID; his mother, Margo R. Elmer of Nampa, ID; one sister, Anni Merrick of Garden City, ID; two grandchildren, Jason and Allie Radford; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted in Idaho at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Erik to the Augustus Elmer Fundraiser at www.gofundme.com .
