JESSICA M. ELMER
FORT FAIRFIELD
Fort Fairfield – Jessica M. Elmer, 39, wife of the late Erik C.F. Elmer, passed away Thursday morning, November 2, 2023 in Fort Fairfield, as the result of a tragic house fire. She was born December 16, 1983 in Missoula, MT, the daughter of James and Kathy (Hirst) Pitcher.
She attended the Missoula, MT School System and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Northwest Nazerine University, Nampa, ID, and had most recently been employed as a Charge Nurse R.N. at the Caribou Nursing and Rehab Center. Jessica enjoyed photography and was a talented artist, drawing and painting beautiful creations. She also enjoyed knitting, hiking, and most especially being a Mom and Grandma.
She was predeceased by her husband, Erik; one daughter, Rose Meredith Elmer. She is survived by her father, James Pitcher of Texas; her mother, Kathy Pitcher of Montana; one son, Augustus C.M. Elmer of Fort Fairfield; two daughters, Gillian Radford and her husband Austin of Tuscan, AZ, and Emma Elmer of Nampa, ID; one brother, Chris Hirst of Montana; two sisters, Dawn Pitcher of Egypt, Sabrina Lane of Camas Valley, OR; two grandchildren, Jason and Allie Radford; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted in Idaho at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Jessica to the Augustus Elmer Fundraiser at www.gofundme.com .
