Limestone – Lisa Rose Marie Couturier, 56, wife of Ivan J. Couturier, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, November 17, 2023 at her Limestone residence. She was born June 16, 1967 in Van Buren, the daughter of Clarence A. and Patricia E. (Berube) Thibodeau.

She was a graduate of the Van Buren High School, Class of 1985 and was married to Ivan J. Couturier on June 6, 2016. Lisa attended the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. She enjoyed dancing, music, singing and creating jewelry. Lisa will be remembered as a gracious, kind and pleasant free spirit by all who were blessed to know her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence A. and Patricia E. Thibodeau and is survived by her husband Ivan J. Couturier of Limestone; three brothers, Brian Thibodeau and his wife Deanna of Bristol, CT, Mark Thibodeau of Salem, MA, Alan Thibodeau and his wife Inez of Plainville, CT; three sisters, Brenda Corriveau and her husband Steven of Bangor, Janice Violette and her husband Richard of South Portland, Martine McMahon and her husband Mark of Berlin, CT; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the spring of 2024 at the Parish of the Precious Blood, St. Louis Catholic Church, 100 Main Street, Limestone, at a date and time to be announced by the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
