CARLA L. BRAGDON
ASHLAND
Ashland – Carla L. Bragdon, 61, passed away Saturday evening, December 2, 2023 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following a brief illness. She was born April 15, 1962 in Framingham, MA, the daughter of Truman and Geraldine “Betty” (Hafford) Bragdon.
As a child, Carla attended local schools and also attended the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, Marlboro, MA. Carla will be remembered as a caring person who deeply loved her family, who always was willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved to cook, especially for family gatherings, her wonderful sense of humor and contagious laugh will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, Carla was predeceased by two sisters, Wendy Duprey and Linda Bragdon. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Adam P. and Nicole Farrow of Ashland; two daughters, Stephanie Vierkant of Marlboro, MA, Stacey Smith and her husband Timothy of Rutland, MA; one brother, Randy Bragdon and his wife Anna of Whitinsville, MA; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Carla’s life will take place at a later date. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the charity or organization of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield.
