DONNA M. BUTLER
LIMESTONE
Limestone – Donna M. Butler, 79, passed away Friday afternoon, February 16, 2024, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following a brief illness. She was born July 3, 1944 in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Wendell and Annabelle (Sullivan) Lloyd.
Donna had been employed by the Caribou Nursing Home as a CNA and also worked at Kelley’s Restaurant, Limestone for many years. Donna greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, country rides and spending time at Trafton Lake.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by one sister, Gloria Lloyd. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Kay Butler of Caribou, Robert A. and Cindy Lou Butler of Limestone; three daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie Ann and Jeff Treft of Kansas, Tina and Dean Post of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, Cindy and Kevin Tardy of Limestone; one brother, Ernest Lloyd of Centreville, New Brunswick; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, a graveside service will be conducted later in the spring at Larlee Creek Cemetery, Larlee Creek, New Brunswick. Those who wish may contribute in Donna’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 144 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gibersondorseyfuneralhome.com .
